About us

The idea for CcSnailMail was first brought to life when we moved away from our core friends and family. We desperately wanted to stay in touch with our families and good friends, so we started writing a periodic "life update" email that we would send to let our loved ones in on our cool experiences. The problem was that many of our older family members did not have a computer or email. So, to solve this issue, we got creative and physically mailed a printed version of the same email to those without email. This went over great! The friends and family who got the update in the mail, were delighted, and pleasantly surprised to get our updates. We did this a couple more times and received the same enthusiastic reactions, but with the cost of postage, along with the time and effort involved, we thought there must be a better way. We thought, "wouldn't it be cool to 'cc' our non-email family and friends as easily as we do with our loved ones that have email?" Thus, the "Email to SnailMail" idea was born, so people like you and me could stay in touch with all of the people in our lives. No one is left out!
